Broadway Highlights Ages 8-12 High School Musical $495 One Week: 6/20-6/23 9:00am-4:00pm No Camp Monday 6/19 Greenhouse Theater Center, Lincoln Park 2257 N Lincoln Ave. Chicago, IL 60614 Skyline’s Broadway Highlights Summer Camp for ages 8-12 at the Greenhouse Theater Center in Lincoln Park provides young actors with an immersive musical theatre experience. From an exciting first day of getting to know a show, to an exhilarating final performance, an experienced Skyline teaching artist will guide actors in putting together a fully-staged musical, adapted to best showcase each unique cast. Every child will be assigned a named role and have a chance to shine in High School Musical as they learn the lyrics and dances to their favorite songs like “The Start of Something New,” “Breaking Free,” and “We’re All in This Together.” Days will be packed as actors sing solos, learn dances, create memorable characters, craft show-themed art, work together to tell a story, enjoy outdoor lunch and recess at the famous Oz Park, and have fun with friends! Every Friday, Highlights campers will present their final performance for friends and family, so actors can enjoy the best of Broadway for one week or all summer long! “My son loved his week at Skyline’s Broadway Camp! I was really impressed with how much he was able to learn (songs, dialogue, choreography) in just a few days. He loved being with kids of different ages and had a blast. We are already looking forward to next summer!” “We have participated in Emerald City, Dream Big, and now Skyline and this has been our daughter’s favorite. It is amazing what these kids accomplished in a week. Most actors practice for months to put on a performance like this. She absolutely loved being a part of Broadway Camp and was so sad when it came to an end.”
