Beauty and the Beast Jr. Stars (Age 11-14) 11 Week Session (Show Week 12) Tuesdays / 6-7:30PM / January 23-April 9 NO CLASS: 3/26 SHOW DATE: Sunday 4/14 (afternoon) Kenilworth Assembly Hall Beauty and the Beast is a classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. With many fun roles such as Belle, Beast, Gaston, Chip, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and more, this "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular musical numbers such as “Be Our Guest,” “Gaston,” and “Beauty and the Beast,” this show offers the perfect balance of dramatic and comedic moments where all actors can shine. From the moment auditions kick off on the first day, Stars feel the rush of anticipation as they showcase their talents. Every actor who participates is assigned a named role, and receives a script and rehearsal materials.
