The Little Mermaid Broadway Tots Grades: PreK (Ages 3-5) Thursday: 3:15-4:00 pm Dates: 9/10-12/3 No Class: 11/25 Venue: The Family Room Fit & Fun Center Address: 3217 N Broadway Performance: 12/3, Athenaeum Center, Lakeview Price: $285 Journey “Fathoms Below” with Ariel, an adventurous mermaid, her fabulous mersisters, and their friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab. Life is a party “Under the Sea,” but Ariel would give anything to walk alongside humans like the heroic Prince Eric. She meets two slippery eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, who lead her to Ursula, the sea witch. They offer Ariel a chance for three days on land. Can Ariel pay the price to be “Part of That World,” or will she become one of Ursula’s “Poor Unfortunate Souls?” This classic fairytale invites young actors to discover the joy of finding your voice and following your dreams. Skyline's Broadway Tots is a magical journey into the world of musical theater designed especially for Pre-K performers. Actors will develop aural skills, physical coordination, and self-expression – all through play-based rehearsals that spark an early love for theater arts. All Tots musicals lead up to a fantastic final performance of five fun songs from the show. Tots are not assigned specific roles; they are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from the show! Families will be provided with instructions for how to assemble a costume a few weeks prior to the performance. On show day, while gently guided by a professional teaching artist, Tots will bravely sing, dance, and work together to tell a story in front of a live audience.
