Wilmette Tuesday Broadway Stars (2nd-6th Grade) Tuesdays | 5-7PM at Kenilworth Assembly Hall September 8- December 1, 2026 | No class 11/3, 11/24, 12/8 (if not show date) Final Performance: Tuesday, December 8 *OR* Tuesday, December 15 (Actors will know show day for their cast prior to Class #1) Journey "Under the Sea" for The Little Mermaid Jr. with young mermaid Ariel who longs to leave her father King Triton’s underwater kingdom and live in the human world above. When she strikes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs, she quickly realizes the bargain is not what it seems. Ariel must enlist the help of friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to win the heart of Prince Eric and discover where she truly belongs! Skyline's Broadway Stars is a no-cut program designed for actors grades 2nd-6th. Sing, dance, act, and embark on an unforgettable journey to bring the magic of The Little Mermaid Jr. to life onstage. Guided by a professional teaching artist, Stars level up by singing solos, developing character, and learning fundamental musical theatre choreography. From the moment auditions kick off on the first day, Stars feel the rush of anticipation as they showcase their talents. Every actor who participates is assigned a named role, and receives a script and rehearsal materials. Families will receive detailed instructions on how to assemble an original costume, adding the perfect finishing touch to the show. The stage is set, and the spotlight awaits.
